2 years

I can't believe it's been 2 years of living abroad in Singapore already.  That's pretty fast for me!  I never imagined I could live that far from home, family and friends for so long.  This is all thanks to God who has given me the strength and a good man (Bayu..duh! haha) to help me through the past 2 years.

I have had so many bad days in the past 2 years than I have in my whole life time and I couldn't have gone through it without God's strength.  And I don't think I can continue on without Him.

God I really need you and I know you'll be there for 2011 and the years of my life to come.  Will especially need your strength to leave this wonderful place you've blessed me with tomorrow and the strength to do my job day after day starting this Tuesday.

Wuts Up (Thursday-Sunday)

I'll be doing "Wuts Up" until today only as tomorrow I'll be back in Singapore and there'll be no more "Wuts Ups" because I'm back to reality!!

Well, on Thursday .....on Thursday....you know what...I forgot what I did on Thursday!  But I know I did some really fun things!

On Friday I went shopping with my sister at Platinum.  Got what I needed!  Ate lunch a Fuji with some relatives too.

Had a Christmas Eve Party with family and friends...30 people in our house!  Lots of food and got to hang out with my 3 brothers.  So happy moments.  Need to post up pictures!

Saturday Bayu & I attended SML and BIC and then went to eat at Sizzlers, Slept in the afternoon for a bit.  Went to The Mall for more last minute shopping and gift buying, ate some food we can't find anywhere else.  Then at 10 pm met up with JOY! and JYN!  and had so much fun with them eating, chit-chatting, catching up, laughing, giggling, putting on nail polish.  I missed them and these kinds of moments =) It was fun! lasted until 2 am hahaha.

Tonight I'm going to Karaoke with tons of friends.  What a way to end my stay here for this year ! =D

Wuts Up (Wednesday)

T_T (That's a crying face btw)

It's Thursday already!! So fast! Too fast!

I'm dreading absolutely dreading having to go back to life in Singapore...I have that..that...feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach..=)

Anyhoo,  yesterday was Wendesday and this is what I did:

Bayu and I went with Mom to Bangkok Adventist Hospital.  Mom went to get a check up and Bayu and I went to have lunch and catch up with Ben and his wife.  They are going to have their son some time in February.  It was nice to meet and catch up with them.  It was my first time really meeting Ben's wife and she is really nice.  I can tell they are really meant for each other.  She is 7 months pregnant but doesn't look it at all! Only her tummy is big..same with liza!...I just hope that when my turn comes I won't be the kind of pregnant momma that's all bloated!...ha!...good luck to me knowing me and my luck with weight.

So after that when we got back in the afternoon I caught up with Dollie, RJ, Megan and Elle at a shop in Soi Panid Anan where they were doing their hair and I got a leg massage with dollie.  It was so awesome. Now I just need a full body massage.

We have some guests that are related to Richmond who just arrived and we brought them out in the evening to The Mall Bangkapi.  Traffic was really really bad!  Anyways, I got to eat Pad Thai!  So DELICIOUS! and more durian and I went shoe shopping and bought 3 pairs of shoes!  I found really good cheap shoes its unbelievable!! I just love it here and shopping here MUAHAHAHA.

Then we got back and Jyn came over and we chit chatted away past midnight and Jyn slept over again hehe.  It was fun chit chating with Jyn and the whole day in all.

Joy is coming tonight and I'm so excited.  Super excited.

I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE THIS PLACE.

Wuts Up (Monday & Tuesday)

Okay so it's Tuesday but I'll be writing about what I did the past Sunday (evening) and whole of Monday.

On Sunday evening I went to eat Thai food at a really nice thai shop.  I went with Nel Nel, RJ, Megan, Hazel, Richmond, Bayu, Dolly and I.  The food was AWESOME....so AWESOME.

On Monday was Hazel and Richmond's 1 year anniversary.  We went to the hotel they got married in and had a buffet lunch with them.  We got to take a family picture.  Then we sent hazel and richmond to their hotel room hehe.  They rented a room in the hotel they got married in for the night of their anniversary =P  It's like they're having their honeymoon all over again. HAHA

Then Bayu and I went to meet up with one of our church youth Alvina.  We went shopping at Platinum, hung out at Cenral World and did more shoppoing at MBK.  I had so much fun...seriously so much fun...It's so fun to go around BKK.

After sending Alvina back to the hotel we went to a street shop near our house to eat more Thai food and got home at around 11.30.  I thought I wouldn't buy much but I but a little here and there and came home with more than I thought!  *sigh so much fun...

Today is the 2nd anniversary of Bayu and I.  My family and us are going to Baiyoke sky hotel to eat buffet on the 82nd floor.  Looking forward to it!

Wuts Up (Sunday)

Well, It's kinda too late to blog about what I've been doing for the past 2 weeks but I guess I could write a one week daily blog-diary on what I've been doing since I'm sure this week will be filled with lots of activities since everyone is here and on vacation already.

The last 2 weeks I've just been at home and going out to eat alot and shopping a lot as well.  I love shopping here!  I can safely say I do shopping once a year!  I don't do this kind of shopping in Singapore...

Well, if you saw my facebook photos I uploaded you would have a glimpse of what I've been up to yesterday Sabbath.  Last night Jyn slept over..it wasnt planned =P and not it's almost 2 pm and we've just eaten and watch movies and been online so far today.

This afternoon there's going to be a birthday party for my neighbors son and then this evening...well no plans yet but something will come up I'm sure.

Tomorrow we're meeting up with Alvina, Tuesday is our 2 year anniversary, Wednesday we're eating out with Dollie and everyone else and Friday we have a Christmas party and gathering at home (you're all invited!! come!) And Sunday night karaoke with friends!

This week is going to pass by so fast! I'm leaving next Monday and work starts next Tuesday.

I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK

-

Hi!  I just got an insight that people (friends) are reading my blog and they are asking me why I haven't updated yet!

So here I am updating.

The funny thing with me is that when I was depressed I stopped writing now I'm back home and so happy and I've stopped writing haha...silly me.

Yes, I'm coming to my 3rd week of my vacation.  My 3rd and last week before work starts =(

Everyone is starting their holidays this week while I'm ending my holidays this week.  How sad is that?  And who knows for how many years this will go on.. (aarrggh so negative me!)

I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK

Okay so right after we arrived from the camp we had to rush home and dress up for my school's Annual Dinner.  The theme was "Cowboy" or something like that so I borrowed 2 cowboy hats from a colleague and just came up with whatever I had at home for Bayu and I to wear to fit the theme...

Here are the pics of us...not bad I think for not buying any outfit/costumes outside!

I think I looked cute! =D

Chinchillas

Yesterday was a public holiday so a few of the youth and Bayu and I got together at church and has  a movie marathon.

We met at 10 am (I came at 11) and we watched Despicable me which finished at 1pm.

We went out to each lunch.  Jerome introduce med to century egg porridge.  It is exactly like the jok in thailand even with the half cooked egg and all except there is century egg.. It was my first time to try century egg....It seriously tastes like Balot (The filipino delicacy)

We walk around after eating and bought ice cream and snacks we were at Pet Walk which is like a whole area where they sell all kinds of birds, hamsters, fish, etc.

It was my first time to come across Chinchillas or even hear about them!  They are like squirrels, cat, mice, rabbit all in one!  The girls went in to pet it and I followed to tell them it was time to go but the store owner let me play with it and pet it.  It's fur is soooo soft!! and you can't feel the claws.  The one I took a picture with was 2K dollars.  The owner said the cheapest is 800 SGD.

What a fun experience!

Then we got back and continued to watch Iron Man 2 and Shawshank Redemption and finished at almost 7.  Then we ate dinner together and departed.

There's reflection coz I was taking the picture from outside the shop.
I look so ugly here but but the thing was so cute!  This one was as big as a bunny.

Oh and while watching I managed to finish some work!  So it was  a good day! =)

So Pain!

Singaporeans don't say "so painful" they will say "so pain"...hehehe I'm seriously getting the Singlish now!! aaah!...Anyways, I student accidentally kicked my toe and in the process it ripped my toe nails...it bled and hurt!  But that's not what I"m going to show you today.  I have the biggest mouth ulcer I've ever had in my life.  Just want to show to get so pity..muahahahahha...

What a Day of Rejoicing

Bayu is not yet ordained but he was able to get into the baptismal pool for the first time, give a little background on his baptismal candidate, Pastor Finley baptised them and Bayu assisted.  On November 13,2010 Bayu "helped" to baptise 3 of our churchmembers.

It was a day to remember...below are pictures of our one youth who decided to choose Jesus as his personal Savior and get baptised.  One of Bayu's sons/brother (hahaha) in our youth...it was a touching moment.

Thanks Jerome for taking these great photos!

Crush

I had dinner with our youth on Saturday night.  Let me introduce Eliana.  She is our daughter..haha in Chuan Hoe Church (I told you the youth were our kids!).  We were talking about one of her "crush"  and I managed to take some paparazzi photos of a crush facial expressions..muahaha....
