Ordination 2012

Pastor Igan was ordained yesterday and so all pastors and wives and lots of church members were there for the program. The program was pretty short and sweet :)

Our youth led song service and there were lots of refreshments!

Bkk 2012 Day 1

Bayu and I are now in Bangkok Thailand.

We are here for the Family Ministries Convention.

And our opening ceremony where we had to wear the national costume of the country we represented.

So I was Singapore Girl for an evening.

Our Sabbath

Just a documentary of today's events.

We had sundown worship then went for dinner at a delicious vegan restaurant called Loving Hut ten went to see some light an water works show at Marina Bay Sands.

It's getting late an in getting sleepy. Man I'm old. Hahaha.

Sabbath Outing

We went on a hike.

Got stuck in the pouring rain.

Closed the Sabbath together.

Were starving and had Indian food.

My whole family came to visit us. My parents for 2 weeks and my sister and Amonch for 1 week.

It was so fun as as usual time flew by.

When they left I cried like a baby lol. It's always hard to say goodbye! Hehhe

Sabbath

My birthday fell on a special day ... Saturday. As an SDA., who said we can't have a fun-filled birthday ona Sabbath?!

On the way to church I was glad to have 2 extra pair of hands to help carry boxes of Sabbath School Lessons and the food to be cooked for lunch... Yeap somehow it was my turn to cook that day.




Didn't go for Sabbath School because I had to start preparing the dishes. I was contributing a few dishes and my cooking partner the rest of the main dishes.

In the afternoon we went for a hike and a picnic and sundown worship Singapore style.




















Theeeen we went to am authentic Thai food resto!!!! Way to end the day!













The touching part was that the adults don't normally join us for dinner but they said they would go because it was "someone's" birthday. Haha and auntie Annie and uncle Lam kiong treated us all!

The real blessing for me was the realization that hit me that God has been with me throughout my whole life and I know he will continue to be with me for all the years of my life to come. What an assurance I have !
