mini-update: I'm getting used to the area. I think I can travel around my self...I'm having lots of house keeping to do and asides from that just munching on snacks, eating, reading, watching tv, going out when Bayu's done with work.....Missing Thailand...But enjoying life here as you can see =)

Home (Tonnes of Picts)

Here are some pictures of our simple home in Singapore. Nothing fancy but I'm getting used to this place, and I'm happy to have a place to rest my head and to call home. Now I can walk around the house without the lights on and I won't bump into anything. It's still kinda bare but I hope to go to IKEA sometime soon!

First of all, I'm so happy Bayu's mom is here to cook for us! This was breakfast today.

When you step in the door this is what you see. After the Arch is the kitchen and after the wooden chair after the blue sofa on the right there are our 2 bedrooms.

Washing machine! You can see how we hang clothes by scrolling up to the picture of the view from our kitchen window. You can see poles at the side of the buildings with clothes on them.
Just above the kitchen sink we have to long poles stretched across the ceiling where we also hang clothes there to dry.

At the right corner of our kitchen, near our window is the shower room. I stuck some Lilo and Stich stickers.

BBQ

Yesterday was Calvin's Birthday. So Bayu and I Hopped onto a bus to his place. To make a long story short it too us 2 hours to get to his place. One city 2 hours. No, we didn't get lost. It was just a long route. Good tour for me though. hahha.

Calvin had a BBQ. Calvin and his new wife got married on the same weekend as Bayu and I did. I got to know more people from church and how to BBQ marshmallows too. Over here there are only certain areas you can do BBQ they provide the place you just need to bring the charcoal and stuff. And their charcoal here is packed so nicely.

As I continue to post I will be mentioning trivial things that I find are different from the life I had at BKK. Hehehe.

Anyways, here are some pictures. And we got a ride back home thank God!

New Phone!

It's almost my 2nd week here in Singapore. This Sabbath will be my 2nd Sabbath at Balestier (I just asked Rochael on gmail chat how to spell that).

I think I'm getting more adjusted to the place. I haven't cried in a few days. Hehehe. Bayu's parents are here, I hope I don't get all sad again when they leave on Sunday and the house will be more empty.

Today Bayu is going to take his parents and I to Orchard road and tomorrow we're going to Sentosa. This evening we have a Bible at Pr. Mark Chan's house (Bayu's boss).

Oh and I have a new phone. It was given to Bayu and I (as a New Year's present) and since it's too "complicated" for Bayu He's using my Samsung one and I'm using the given phone. Hehehehe...Power of the Pastor and Pastor's wife...Nokia E71

Fair Price, a supermarket is around a 10 minute walk away from our place. We walk there and carry everything back. Very good exercise!
