1 Year Day <3

First Water Play

Javan's first water play - outdoors. His bath time is always water play.

This was at Jem in Jurong. We playedhere  while waiting for daddy to finish up some work.

It started ouy innocently enough as it always does. But I always bring extra clothes :P

Baby Sign Language

I heard that babies can pick up sign language before they can talk. I almost joined a baby sign class but instead at around 8 months taught Javan the sign for milk. I wasn't consistent but a week before he turned one he started signing "milk"!

After that I started using more signs and he carches on so quickly. He uses signs for a few words now but he understands other signs even though he doesn't sign it.

Now that he knows the milk sign I dont'tbhave to guess if he is hungry for milk. Makes my life so much easier!

He now also signs daddy, book, sleep, pray, sawatdee kap. He understands the signs for change, bathe, please, thank you, water, food. ..

love this age. He knows so many tricks! So much fun.

He knows how to kiss back, flying kiss, bye bye, feed you, ask for food just a million and one things that are too cute!

Book pls!
Book again.. All day everyday..
Dada!

First Indoor Playground

I made friends with a Thai Mom and we met up for lunch and to lets our boys play together.

This was at an indoor playground called Hokey Pokey. It has all the toys a baby could wish for. Javan played there for almost 3 hours. He didnt even ask for milk or get cranky! He loved it.

Of course he slept the whole way back home. I thought he was tired. Apparently I was too! I fell asleep with Javan at 8.30pm.

Uncle Jo's Visit

My cousin Joseph came to Singapore for work so we got to meet up with him. We are very close cousins because we grew up together. Him and his sis are hust like brother and sister to me.

It has been 5 years since I last saw him. Of course we went to eat Thai food!
