On March 2, 2015 Javan's cousin was born. A beautiful baby girl named Qirana and nicknamed Nona.

We can't wait to meet her!

Uncle Jo's Visit

My cousin Joseph came to Singapore for work so we got to meet up with him. We are very close cousins because we grew up together. Him and his sis are hust like brother and sister to me.

It has been 5 years since I last saw him. Of course we went to eat Thai food!

Sg Bird Park!

I had such an awesome time today!

We went to Jurong Bird Park with Auntie Marylin and Javan!!

It's really a different experience bringing your own baby to a place like that and seeing him see and react to  things for the first time.

Long Distance Devotion

We had devotion with Haz and Amonch a few night before our holiday was over.

Sonya & Fauler's Visit!

My sister-in-law

Sister and bro-in-law at church
They waited for us and Bayu to finish our duties and meetings at church then we took a cab to eat a golden mile (Thai food!!) We took a walk from Godlen Mile to see the sites (see pic below) then ended up at Marina Bay Sands and we (Sonya and I and Javan) had cake from Au Chocolate.

On Sunday we went to USS and took the Cable Car.  It was my first time.  Loved it!

View from the cable car of the cruise ship we took last year with the SDA Conference staff retreat.

Of course we got hungry and had to eat first.  Those were veggie burgers for Bayu and I.

Had to bring something healthy to snack on hehe.

Bayu telling his stories on the cable car.

Happy to see them so sweet and loving and in love and growing in their marriage.

Glad Sonya finally got to go into USS!

Great times.  I had a great time with them even if for a while.  It's always so good to have family.  I'm glad family were able to come for holidays this year as well.  It was sad to say goodbye.  But we will meet again and Javan will be born by then.

10 December 2013

The last two days and goodbye (again...)

I got to spend time with Kessarin.  She came over and ate with me.  After my bout of morning sickness that first 3 months my appetite came back with a vengeance!

Enjoying ice cream and cupcakes from yesterday's baby shower.

A slice of pumpkin pie!

I was craving this pumpkin pie for forever!

After that "snacking"  we went for a massage.  The massage was at health land.  I got the special massage for pregnancy.  It was ok.  I write this now 2 months later and I need another massage!  My back aches!

6 months preggers.  My sister will Always by my best friend no matter what.  I love her to pieces.

Enjoying every moment before leaving at night.

We had breakfast at 24 owls then we went to central world to look for some baby stuff.  I already started tearing when we were shopping at H & M!  Pregnancy makes me extra emo!

And yet again it was time to say goodbye.  I had the greatest few days of my life!  It's been almost 5 years since I've lived away from my family but I always, always cry when we leave each other.  I'm really close to my family and am such a family person.  This time it was also a different kind of goodbye.  Because the next time we meet there will be a little one.  I won't just a daughter and sister but also a mother.  A new chapter in life.

Awesome THAI Vegetarian Food

There is a Thai vegetarian restaurant near our house and we've been meaning to go there for quite some time.  Finally, we went there.  After the baby shower which was 10am to around 1 pm we went to have dinner here to celebrate my Mom's birthday.  The food was really good.  All the Thai dishes I love but vegetarian!

This is pomelo salad.

You could control the sweetness of your drink by adding as much or as little syrup as you wanted.

Northern noodle dish.  Also known as Thai Laksa

This is usually made with oysters.

Fritters.

Juice

Tom Yum of course.

Brown rice.

Steamed vegetables with chilli!  The chilli is usually made with shrimp paste.

Family time!

The best dish of all!  It's usually made from cat fish!

Fried beancurd.  Supposed to replace fried chicken.

Usually chicken or beef.

Happy Birthday Mom!
