June Trip - The Day We Found Out! (Pattaya Trip Day 3 & 4)

Sunday - June 23, 2012

One reason why I ran my Full Marathon last December 2012 was because Bayu and I planned to get pregnant in 2013.

On March of 2013 I had a false alarm and really thought I was pregnant.  However, it turns out I wasn't and we were both really disappointed.  But through this we knew that we indeed wanted kids.  After that we kinda stopped trying and guessing if this month would be the month and just let it be.

Little did I know that the whole time I was holidaying in back home I was pregnant!

I just assumed it was another false alarm and didn't want to be bothered but after everyone left from Pattaya back to Bangkok and it was just my sister, Bayu and I left my sister and Bayu asked me to just take 1 test.  They were the only ones I told that I was late that month.  So we bought the test and and did the test in the hotel room.

Low and behold.  It was positive.  I was shocked.  Bayu as shocked. Hazel was happy.  We were all happy actually.  It's just that it happened when we least expected it!

And what a blessing and perfect timing!  To find out when my sister was there and to be able to tell my family in person once we arrived in Bangkok.

Below are the pictures the moment I/we found out.

Just to be sure the next day, Monday we went to the hospital before dropping home to take a blood test (we didn't want another false alarm).  It turned out positive as well!  And I was already around 4 or 5 weeks pregnant.

So that evening the next day we brought my parents to Fuji and told them at dinner that they were going to be grandparents :D

What???

Are you kidding me???

I can't believe this!

Hahaha I was just being drama.  Actually I was really happy.  Just shocked too :D

Fooling around Lol.

Last dinner in pattaya.  Lovely restaurant called the Glass House.  Walking distance from our hotel and also beside the beach.

Contemplating on the latest events on our lives.  Still so surreal.  Didn't really kick in until days, weeks later hahaha.

On the way back to Bangkok Monday morning.  Had to drop by and buy some fruits.  I was indeed craving fuits!  After this we didn't go straight home but went to the hospital to take  blood test first.

June Trip - Pattaya Day 1

Bayu arrived and stayed just enough for a weekend getaway to Pattaya.  We booked a hotel that my family stayed in before.  It's a really nice spot in Pattaya.  I forget the name of the hotel though.

Our trip started off very interestingly.  We were packed and ready Friday morning.  As my sister was prepping the car for the trip she lost the cover of something inside the car and we couldn't retrieve it.  We finally just covered it with something temporary.

Then we left and Bayu and I had problems with our ATM cards so we had to go back home to get another card, etc. We then got hungry and stopped at a mall nearby our house.  It was our first time to that mall so that was an adventure in itself.  By the time we were actually on our way it was already lunch time.

We finally arrived!

Beautiful view and seats from our hotel.

Super breezy

Cute/cool restaurant beside our hotel

We went to a mall nearby the hotel and had some fresh juice and walked around and went to the super market.

I was craving fruits!  Lots and lots of fruits!!

We ate at the restaurant beside our hotel.  It had a very nice atmosphere.  Outdoors, next to the beach, breezy and very chill.

Oh How True!

Something I found on Facebook:

For all those born in 70's & 80's!

We are the last generation that learnt to play in the street, we are the first who've played video games, see cartoons in color and went to amusement parks.  We were the last to record songs of the radio on cassettes and we are the pioneers of walkmans and chatrooms... We learned how to program the VCR before anyone else, play with the Atari, Super......Nintendo and believed that the Internet would be a free world all on a 56kbit modem. Traveled in cars without seat belts or air-bags & lived without cellphones. Rode our bicycles down the road without brakes.  We never had phones but still kept in touch.  We did not have Play stations, 99 television stations, flat screens, surround sound, mp3s, iPods, computers and broadband...

but nevertheless we had a GREAT time.

My Happy Face

I just found the pictures of my 10k race today from the official website of the race coordinators.

So I think it's my first time to see my happy face caught on camera for me to see HAHAHAHAHA.

These are pictures of Bayu and I crossing the finish line.

Smile with me!

This smile only comes at the beginning and end if the run. In between is more like :O :/ :S :'(

Visiting

we just got back from Church Chinese New Year visitation.

We divided into groups and went to different houses. I went to 2 houses.

The 2nd house was Simon's house. We got to meet his mom and his brother and his 3 nephews. They were all over the place but super cute.

They had fun with Bayu and Bayu had fun with them hahaa

The littlest one was so fascinated with bayu's tummy!

Bayu probably lost a few hundred calories carrying them haha.

It was fun. Got home and did my own work out - house cleaning! Dont know what got into me but I cleaned the whole house.

Tomorrow is Sunday! :( ? Hehee
