Shepherdess Meet-Up

We have around 15 Sheperdess including wives of Union workers here in Singapore. We try to meet as a whole group a few times a year.

We have also been divided into
3 or 4 smaller groups in which we can communicate with each other more often.

Yesterday the group I was in met at at Dr Pik Yee's house. We had a short sharing them prayer for each other. After that we mad a scrapbook picture each with Dr Pik Yee's materials. It was fun.

We then shared some recipes and cooked together and ate together. We spend around 4 hours altogether.

I used to resist such gatherings but I have learned and come to enjoy it as well as the company of the ladies.

Here are some pictures of our gathering and master pieces in te making :D

Waffleicious

After our run the other day this is what Bayu and I ate.

Their menu is interesting. I ordered the Bannana waffle and Bayu the blueberry waffle. They mix the fruit into the waffle batter. Their ice cream is gelato which is 90% fat free.

Yummy & Healthy

Here is a drink I discovered.

It tastes really good. You can taste the soy milk so if you don't like soy milk then it's bots for you.

It's a strawberry shake made from Greek yoghurt, soy milk, oats and strawberry.

Air Force Museum

Today I brought Bayu to the air force museum. We spent a few hours there and of course he loved it.

It's a really big and nice place and entrance is free. They open from 10am-5pm.

I knew about this place because my school brought the kids there.

Bayu was like a wide-eyed kid himself haha.

Bad, Bad, Bad

I havnt been blogging everyday! I do make up for it and make sure there are enough posts for each day of the month or more but it's not one a day for sure :S

Anyhow, let this be one post for this month :P

Try Some Food

We tried out some new food places.

The burger place was expensive and small portions. The Korean place was affordable and their side dishes were refillable and the food was good!

Both places could be found at JCube!

Little Pancakes

Simon brought us to a place we havnt been to.

We had some really delicious pancakes. The size of the pancakes are small. Just what I like!

Teachers' Performance

For our Teachers' Day celebration we had a performance from the teachers to entertain the kids and boy did they love it haha.

We were divided into 3 groups to do 3 different kinda of dances. American Indian , Hawaiian and Japanese.

Every year we do something different. But this year we really dressed up to try and make it realistic.

It was fun but extremely tiring as we had to do it for 3 sessions.
