Senses - Taste

This week's theme that I'm teaching my kids is my 5 senses.

Today I taught them about their sense of taste.

1. sour

2. salty

3. bitter

4. sweet

It was so fun to watch their expressions!

The 1st round I let them taste lime, salt, unsweetened cocoa, and brown sugar.

The 2nd round I let them taste the sour gummibears, m&ms, and twisties cheese flavoured chips. They loved it and I loved it...it was a good day hahahaha.

Skedule

I'm so looking for my long break at the end of this year. The end of the school year here is November 22.

November 29 -December 2 there will be a mission retreat to Bali which I will definitely be going to with Bayu and other pastors and families.

Then I will come straight to Bangkok until December 27 which kinda sucks because while everyone is just enjoying their vacation I already have to prepare for work. We have staff meeting on the 28th and then the next week the school year starts again.

My family has also planned to go to some resort in Muak Lek on the 19th to 21st which means we'll get to visit MC again! And feel the cool winter breeze of Thailand!

I'm a regular costumer of Starbucks all over Singapore!

Yesterday afternoon I couldn't concentrate at home so I went to do work at starbucks and accomplished quite a bit!

Their chocolate truffle cake I ate after dinner today was sooo good...it melts in your mouth!

My all time favourite: Signature hot chocolate soy with whipped cream =)

I'm so going to buy the tumbler soon. I should've bought the one that says Bangkok. Hmmm maybe I wil when I get back.

Teachery Stuff =)

FYI =) I bought a hot pink cover for my macbook...

I'm kinda sorta getting the hang of teaching my 3-4 year olds. After saying I NEVER want to be a kindergarten teacher I just might be Ok with being one. It's not easy but when you TRY to think positive then some things can be seen as fun.

I've been doing some research and coming up with ways to make learning fun and interesting for the kids. Teaching kids ABC and 123 is not that simple! There are a million ways to

teach it.

Our them this week is 'My BodY' I made home made playdough and will let the kids roll out eyes, ear, nose, moht etc onto these blank faces.

Body parts!

Alphabet puzzles, match upper case letter with upper case letter, match upper case letter with lower case letter, etc!

Tired

Hi how is everybody's week?

Time is passing by pretty fast for me. And I've go so much things to do. I have lots of ideas for the kids to do I just need to put it into action but I'ma always out of time and always tired. It is so exhausting to teach but I can't imagine myself doing anything else. I just wish I could sleep in. I hope to put up more "teachery" blogs when I can.

I swear this stressful lifestyle is going to cut my lifespan to half!

I wish to pursue my studies in special education but we'll see how that goes.

I'm so stressed that I'm eating my way out of stress how am I supposed to be slim and healthy? help!! Hahaha.

AHHH! I haven't updated in so long! 2 weeks of work has gone by and I've been super busy and exhausted I seriously don't know how I'm going to continue to live a life like this...

Anyways, thanks for all the messages on the shoutbox! Love hearing from you guys. The latest and greatest news is that the team I have been cheering for since forever has reached the finals! I'm 'talking about SPAIN! I've been cheering on for them and never dreamed I would see the day they would be in the finals! The world is seriously going to end soon hahaha.

Bayu is cheering for Netherlands and I am cheering for Spain. Ohhh I'm so nervous and excited! As much as I want spain to win I know the Netherlands are really good and well, I'm just happy to be able to see Spain come this far.

Hmmmm...I need to see what pictures I can post up soon. Miss you!
